Angel’s Dream will create an environment that offers a variety of experiences in response to children’s growing abilities, personalities, interests and needs. The provider will take the time to observe and get to know the children as individuals and will be able to respond in ways that nurture each child’s curiosity about the world and self-confidence. The two year olds will engage in practice play for sheer delight and the pleasure of having an activity under control. The three, four and five (3,4,5) year olds will enjoy the second level of symbolic play with props that will reflect reality for them. They also will be learning basic computer skills on the computer with various age appropriate software. Angel’s Dream will provide a sensitive caring environment where children are loved and nurtured, strengthening their self-esteem and confidence. Angel’s Dream believes once these basic needs are met, they can freely explore different types of experiences with adult guidance. They will feel stronger when they are loved, cared for, safe and nurtured. We believe that most of life’s learning, including how to learn occurs in the first five years of life. Since each child learns at their own pace, our staff will allow each child to demonstrate that they are ready to move to the next stage of development. We believe the “can do” viewpoint allows our society’s precious future to become confident and to enjoy successes in an atmosphere of respect, warmth and love. Through careful selection of a staff trained in early childhood development that value, respect and sensitively respond to the unique needs of each child, we feel that children will learn best. We serve children Birth to ten (10) years old and provide a safe and secure environment that encourages cognitive development in a nurturing, supportive and playful manner. Well trained caregivers support the development of self-knowledge, self-control, and self-esteem. We encourage respect for the feelings and rights of others. The Center is licensed by the Bureau of Child Care, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Our goals are to nurture self-esteem and self-confidence through secure relationships and independence. We strive to promote successful and satisfying learning experience.
